Empowering Black Women

Celebrating female music industry trailblazers

The Inaugural Black Women in Music Dinner will celebrate the strides and accomplishments of Black women executives in the music industry. This acclamatory event is the first of its kind. Created by Connie Orlando, the empowerment dinner is more than just a gathering- it's a celebration of excellence, a testament to the trailblazers who have paved the way, and a safe space to reconnect, reflect, and honor those who have championed us along the way.

We have created an opportunity to come together and honor executives, artists, and creators who have influenced the music industry. We gather to celebrate our successes and continue to inspire the next generation of leaders.

This unparalleled music industry event honoring women in music shines a light on the community that shapes the culture by giving them a space to receive their flowers in a truly empowering and uplifting experience.

Join Connie Orlando to Celebrate Women and Support Essential Cancer Awareness

The Black Women in Music Dinner is far more than just an industry event—it represents a powerful commitment to honoring and uplifting Black women everywhere. With HarborView as our Founding Partner, alongside the Connie Orlando Foundation, Amazon Music, BET, BET Her, and Jessie Collins Entertainment, we’re bringing together a remarkable community to support essential breast cancer awareness initiatives.

Music, with its persistence, beauty, resilience, and cultural richness, serves as both a backdrop and a driving force behind our mission. It embodies the spirit of unity and hope we strive to cultivate in the fight against breast cancer—an illness that disproportionately impacts Black women with higher mortality rates and more aggressive forms of the disease.

By convening artists, industry leaders, advocates, survivors, and supporters under one roof, the Black Women in Music Dinner channels the power of art to raise critical funds and awareness. This gathering is designed to spark urgent conversations, inspire preventative measures, and galvanize resources that can help save lives.

Your presence at this annual event not only celebrates the artistry that has shaped Black music but also amplifies the call to action in confronting a health crisis that affects so many in our community. Together, we can transform the influence of music and media into a lasting positive impact—one that underscores the resilience of Black women and advances meaningful change in breast cancer education and treatment.

Join us for an evening of music, culture, and camaraderie as we honor the accomplishments of Black women in music and stand united in the fight against breast cancer. Your voice, presence, and support will help propel this mission forward, ensuring that awareness, resources, and hope continue to reach those who need them most.
